No Next Meeting

The san diego modo user group (sdmodo) held its 34th and final monthly meeting on June 29, 2010. Due to lack of presenter support and dwindling attendance, sdmodo was disbanded. There will be no more sdmodo meetings.

The sdmodo meeting place (Crywolf) and time (4th Monday of each month - 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM) will soon be filled by a new group - San Diego iOS (SDiOS). Please visit the SDiOS website for more information.

CAD/modo to and from...

Several in our group (at least 5 of the most faithful members) are industrial product designers with CAD backgrounds - primarily using SolidWorks. So we are planning to host hands-on workshops for transitioning from SolidWorks/CAD to modo and for moving models back and forth between. We need all the help we can get on this, so if you know modo and SolidWorks (and/or other 3D CAD programs) please let us know. We will announce details here as soon as we get plans together.
